In a previous post, we had mentioned that the MER National Conference will be held in Chicago. This is actually coming up here very quickly (May 19th). The InfoWorld Technology of the Year Awards for 2008 named NextPage 2 Document Retention the Best Document Retention System. The system encourages document retention policies by unnoticeably observing the document actions on every user’s computer to keep track of documents as they are moved across a network.

The 15th annual National Conference on Managing Electronic Records will be held May 19-21 in Chicago. The conference is an internationally recognized forum that educates and informs business professionals about issues, solutions, and information regarding the management of electronic records. The AIIM International Expo & Conference in Boston, MA is coming up. It is scheduled for March 3-6. It is the largest conference in the world that is wholly dedicated to content management products and risk management software. If you are attending, look for NextPage. Nextpage has been getting a lot of great press lately. One of the big stories is that it was awarded one of KMworld’s Trend Setting Products of 2007.
